A great column of black smoke has dyed the sky of Ondara this afternoon. It was a fire outside the wastewater treatment plant tanks. Dénia Located in the Ondarenc municipality, next to the CV-725. Luckily, there have been no injuries, only material damage and the Firefighters are close to completely extinguishing it.
Apparently, the origin of the fire has been two polyester drums that have burned, according to the Dianense City Council. Both the Local Police of Dénia and Ondara have been notified of the fire, as well as the Fire Department, whose task is not yet confirmed finished.
The flammable material has affected part of the façade of the plant on one side. In addition, a third is added to the two drums on which the cooling work is still going on. At the moment the causes of the fire are unknown.
