Last night, the prestigious Repsol Guide held the Gala de los Soles 2023 in which awards were presented to a large number of Spanish establishments that well deserve the distinction. This year the destination that hosted the delivery of Soles was the city of Alicante, where numerous activities have been carried out throughout the weekend on the occasion of the ceremony.
A large number of personalities from the gastronomic world have gathered there. The awards were given at the ceremony to those restaurants awarded for the first time with one, two or three Repsol Suns.
For its part, the Marina Alta is a land of Soles and continues to disappoint every year. This edition the scoop came from the hand of Bernardi House, the restaurant of the Italian chef Ferdinando Bernardi in Benissa. A proposal that has achieved 1 Repsol Guide Sol 2023 and that joins the already veterans of the region who this year revalidated their Suns.
In total there are nine restaurants, plus the aforementioned novelty of the season. Thus, Quique Dacosta Restaurant (Dénia) and BonAmb Restaurant (Xàbia) collect 3 Repsol Guide Suns again. The 2 Repsol Guide Suns are Beat Restaurant (Calp), Casa Pepa (Ondara), Peix i Brases (Dénia) and Tula (Xàbia).
As for those recognized with 1 Repsol Guide Sun, Audrey's - Rafa Soler (Calp), El Baret de Miquel (Dénia), La Perla de Jávea (Xàbia) and Casa Bernardi (Benissa) repeat as the great novelty. With all of them, the Marina Alta will display, until the next edition of the awards, a total of 18 Repsol Guide Suns.
