Tonight, the Guimerá Theater in Santa Cruz de Tenerife hosts the Repsol Guide 2025 Gala. This event brings together the country's most renowned chefs each year to present new awards, the Soles.
The Marina Alta reaps success once again this year and in 2025 achieves another new award from the Repsol Guide, this time traveling to Dénia. Ossadía, the restaurant's most gourmet formula dexcaro Chef Carlos García Moreno's restaurant has been awarded its first Repsol Sun. This recognition highlights the work and culinary offerings of the Dianense restaurant, which has managed to stand out in the competitive national gastronomic scene. In this endeavor, the chef presents a full-fledged trip around the world with a tasting menu "with references to American, Peruvian, Mexican, French, and Asian flavors," according to its website.
At the top of the culinary cradle, the region reaffirms all the Soles it had already accumulated. It currently has two restaurants. 3 Suns Repsol: Quique Dacosta Restaurant, in Dénia, and BonAmb, in Xàbia. With 2 Suns There are four more restaurants: Beat Restaurant (Calp), Casa Pepa (Ondara), Peix i Brases (Dénia) and Tula (Xàbia). And finally, six proposals with 1 Sol Repsol, Audrey's – Rafa Soler (Calp), El Baret de Miquel (Dénia), La Perla de Jávea (Xàbia), Casa Bernardi (Benissa), Orobianco (Calp), to which is added Ossadia (Dénia).
