The Firefighters of the Diputación de Alicante have come this afternoon to put out the flames of a car that had caught fire on the road, although the cause of the fire is unknown. Specifically, the event took place at km 174 of the N-332 in Benissa on the way to Calp when the vehicle began to emit a large column of smoke.
Users of the busy road have notified the relevant authorities about the fire. For this reason, the Benissa Local Police and, later, the Fire Brigade were present at the scene of the events. Between the warning at 12:30 and the end of the intervention of the means of extinction, an hour has passed. Luckily no injuries have been reported.
