Around 23:28 p.m. yesterday, Friday, there was a traffic accident on the old AP-7 highway near Benissa. According to sources from the Alicante Fire Brigade, two vehicles collided head-on, for unknown reasons, leaving one person dead and two occupants seriously injured.
SAMU, SVB, and eight firefighters from the parks went to the scene of the event. Dénia, Benidorm and Benissa to carry out the release work. The care and release work took about three hours, during which time the highway remained closed.
