The Valencian Council has authorized a collaboration agreement between the Valencian Community Tourism Authority (Turisme Comunitat Valenciana) and the Gata de Gorgos City Council for the development of the Tourist Info Network program through the maintenance and updating of the municipality's tourist information office.
This agreement aims to provide an information service on the tourist attractions of Gata de Gorgos and the tourism products of the Valencian Community.
Through this agreement, both administrations collaborate in the operation and maintenance of the tourist information office located in the municipality, called Tourist Info Gata, which is part of the Tourist Info Network of the Valencian Community.
In this way, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana makes its public databases and tourist information available to the office; facilitates coordination with the other offices in the Tourist Information Network; supports and strengthens quality management; and provides the tools and procedures necessary for the office's continuous improvement.
For its part, the Gata de Gorgos City Council undertakes to financially and materially support its Tourist Information office and to cover all current expenses and personnel required for its operation.
It must also provide tourism information staff with the appropriate professional profile to provide the service; maintain the image of the tourist office in accordance with the standards of the Tourist Info Network; and actively participate in the network's quality objectives, as well as in its systems for collecting and exchanging statistical information, studies, and service evaluations, among other tasks.
