The pedregueras Àurea Gayà, Maria Artigues and Ariadna Llobell participated on October 8 in the first edition of the EDIMSHA Dance Contest held in Xiva, Valencia. Each one participated in a different category individually.
The competition was held at the Astoria theater in the Valencian town where the dancers, representing the Nanny Alves Escola de Dansa Pedreguer pedagogical project, won the silver, bronze and bronze medals, respectively.
In addition, the jury of the contest awarded one of the scholarships to the dancer Àurea Gayà. The well-deserved results represent another push, both for the students and for the teacher Alves, to continue working on bringing Pedreguer's dance closer to the world's stages and sharing it.
For its part, the Pedreguer City Council wanted to congratulate the pedregueras and the school for their work in the municipality for years, offering them all the support they may need.
