El Municipality of Teulada Moraira The City of San Juan has announced its 2025 Easter and Holy Week program, which will be held from March 30 to April 23 in the town. The program includes a wide range of activities for all audiences, from concerts and musicals to workshops, hiking trails, guided tours, and religious celebrations.
Activities
The program kicks off on Sunday, March 30th with the Holy Week Concert by the Senieta de Moraira Choir at the Virgen de los Desamparados Church in Moraira. Food lovers can also participate in workshops such as "Learn to Make Buñuelos" (April 5th) and "Learn to Make Pan y Mona" (April 12th), organized by the Teulada Association of Housewives and Consumers.
For hiking enthusiasts, guided hikes have been organized, including the "Barranc de la Viuda – Cala de Llebeig – Cala de Moraig" hike on April 18 and the climb to the "Cap d'Or Watchtower" on April 19. There will also be activities for children, such as the Children's Easter Adventure on April 19 and 20, with bouncy castles, games, and workshops, and the Easter Treasure Hunt on Saturday, April 19.
Young people will have their own space at the Young Easter Festival, which will offer paintball and Balanzbike circuits on April 22 and 23. Guided and dramatized tours are also planned, such as the "Moraira, Militiawoman and Corsair" tour on April 16 and the "Gothic Walled Teulada" tour on April 21.
Music and shows at the Teulada Moraira Auditorium
El Teulada Moraira Auditorium will host the Sacred Music Concert on April 17th by the Choir of the Generalitat Valenciana, with free admission. Also on April 19th, the musical Romeo AND Juliet in two roles.
Religious celebrations
Traditional processions and religious services will mark Holy Week in Teulada and Moraira. Among the most significant events are the Holy Burial Procession on April 18, the Solemn Easter Vigil on April 19, and the Holy Encounter Procession on April 20. Liturgical events will also include Masses, confessions, and processions in both Teulada and Moraira, with the highlight being the Stations of the Cross through the town's streets on April 18.
