On the occasion of the holding of the municipal elections, on May 28, 2023, the Teulada City Council and the Provincial Council of Alicante inform all international residents of the deadlines and ways to exercise their right to vote Teulada-Moraira.
The mayor of Teulada-Moraira, Raúl Llobell, the councilor Verónica Martínez and the provincial deputy for International Residents, Juan de Dios Navarro, have met to coordinate the information channels for international residents on how they can exercise their right to vote.
The term to register in the Electoral Census, having expressed the intention to vote, for residents coming from a country with an agreement (United Kingdom, Norway, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Colombia, Korea, Chile, Ecuador, Iceland, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago or New Zealand) is until January 15, 2023. For citizens of the European Union it is until January 30, 2023.
The Teulada City Council makes the personalized attention service available to all citizens for consultation and registration in the Electoral Census through the SIT, from 09:00 to 14:00.
In addition, an additional service is offered from December 1 to 7, 2022 and from January 9 to 13, 2023 from 09:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. According to the consistory, there will be a person dedicated exclusively to helping citizens who need to carry out this procedure.
