The Circuit A Peu Marina Alta celebrates its 2023th anniversary in 25 and for this a gala presentation of the circuit was held at the Balearia headquarters, in the port of Dénia. The event was presented by the sports journalist, Xavi Blasco and was attended by representatives of different municipalities, athletics clubs and other regional entities related to sports.
A significant detail of the meeting was the presentation by the founders of the circuit, who talked about its beginnings and how year after year different municipalities of the region have been added, until reaching 12 municipalities today. The event ended with a performance by the Colla el Falçó de Teulada.
For its part, Teulada Moraira also presented the XIX Cursa Popular, one of the races that make up the Circuit A Peu. On behalf of the municipality, the Teulada City Councilor for Sports, Luis Caballero, and the area technician, Vicente Ivars, attended.
It should be noted that the XIX Cursa Popular de Teulada Moraira will have a 10 km route through the urban area of Teulada and through the rural area of Font de l'Horta. Both senior and veteran categories may participate, the lower categories running through the urban area.
“This course is part of the sports history of our municipality, celebrating its 19th edition this year. Thousands of people are eagerly waiting for April 1 to arrive, to put on their trainers and enjoy this meeting, which for many is already an essential date”, highlighted Luis Caballero.
