The Councilor for Sports of Teulada Moraira, Luis Caballero, and the coordinators of the FB Teulada Moraira have met with the director of the Marina Baixa Cup, Ginés Valcárcel, to announce that the Ricardo Benavente de Teulada municipal sports facilities will become the official headquarters of the Marina Baixa Cup.
"Teulada Moraira is committed to sport by supporting and working together with local and regional clubs, participating in events and, now, becoming the next official venue for the Marina Baixa Cup. The idea is to continue promoting the sporting spirit of Teulada Moraira, and What better way to do it than with our Ciudad Deportiva and local athletes”, stated Caballero.
Thus, from June 9 to 11, the 13th Marina Baixa Cup Weekend Tournament will take place, with matches in Alfàs del Pi, Benidorm, Altea, Finestrat and Villajoyosa. In this first phase, 120 teams will participate, made up of players from the categories from Querubín to Alevín of 2nd year, being invited by the organization of the event to the Prebenjamín of first year, Alevín of first year and Alevín of second year of the EFB Teulada Moraira already the presentation that will take place in Terra Mítica.
Subsequently, from June 22 to 25, the Jugones Cup Base Soccer Tournament will be held, with matches in Teulada, Alfàs del Pi, Benidorm, Altea, Altea La Vella, Finestrat, Villajoyosa, Calpe, Polop de la Marina and El Campello, among other towns. This tournament is intended for male and female F7 and F11 Soccer clubs.
Players and companions will be able to enjoy a few days of sport and relaxation by the beach in a competition that offers the opportunity to play matches against other teams from all over Spain.
In this tournament, the Ricardo Benavente de Teulada municipal sports facilities will host the participating teams, in the Benjamin, Alevín and Cadet categories. 220 teams from outside the Valencian Community will participate.
Finally, from June 29 to July 2, the 13th Marina Baixa Cup Tournament will be held, currently one of the three most prestigious and popular tournaments on the Mediterranean coast, with more than 180 teams and high-level teams. It will be held in the Alicante towns of Teulada, Alfàs del Pi, Benidorm, Altea, Finestrat, Villajoyosa, Calpe and El Campello.
A men's and women's Grassroots Soccer Tournament oriented to grassroots soccer clubs, which combines sport with numerous events and parades for the participants. Created by Don Ginés Valcárcel, executive producer of the Marina Baixa Cup events.
"In love with the municipality of Teulada Moraira, we wanted to bet on including it as the official venue for the most important event of the company, inviting the local team in the youngest, youngest and cadet categories.
