TRAM d'Alacant Line 9 (Benidorm-Dénia) has registered a total of 258.484 users in three months, specifically those from when the Generalitat put the Gata de Gorgos-Dénia railway section into service, on January 16 until April 15.
These data represent an increase of 88,14% compared to the same dates last year and 66,44% if the figures are taken back to the first three months of 2016, the year in which the rail service was interrupted to start the project of modernization of Line 9.
The breakdown of data shows that, in the 16 days of service in January of this year, there were 40.675 travelers who used all or part of the Benidorm-Dénia route; in the month of February there were 75.818; in March there were 93.907 and in the first fifteen days of April, 48.084 users.
