The Digital Media Association of the Valencian Community (AMDComVal) and the Generalitat jointly organize on April 16 at the Aguas Museum in Alicante the first days on proximity journalism under the motto "Weaving territory."

The event will bring together in Alicante media close to institutions, companies and agencies to analyze the current situation in the sector and experts in artificial intelligence to learn about the present, but also the future of this powerful tool in the day-to-day life of the media.

The main Alicante institutions will be present at the event, to bring together and publicize the possibilities of the Alicante media when it comes to disseminating their content; the most prominent companies in the province of Alicante, to try to weave synergies between businessmen and the media; and advertising agencies, to publicize the work, dissemination and reach of the Alicante media to their clients.

The event in this space managed by Aguas de Alicante, a company of the Dinapsis group, will be the first of the days that AMDComVal plans to hold in 2024. The second stop will take place in Castellón before summer. The third event will be held in Valencia in the second half of the year.

The intention of these conferences is to weave the territory of the Valencian Community also through local media, those that are capable of reaching the deepest part of the territory of Alicante, Castellón and Valencia thanks to their capillarity.

The Digital Media Association of the Valencian Community (AMDComVal) currently brings together 56 media outlets from Alicante, Castellón and Valencia that have reached the figure of 251 million pages in 2023, according to the Diffusion Justification Office ( OJD). These data represent an increase of 29,31% compared to the figures for 2022, in which they managed to reach the figure of 194 million page views in 2022.
