Calp continues to add tourism establishments committed to continuous improvement of their services and customer service. This morning, seven new tourism companies and services received awards from the Mayor. Ana Sala and Councilor for Tourism Planning, Mireia Ripoll, the SICTED tourism quality seal. Likewise, the companies that obtained it in 2022 have renewed this seal, bringing the total number of Calp businesses that now have this recognition to 45.
This year the following establishments have obtained the SICTED distinction: ART Beauty Salon, Centro Salufit, Enigma Restaurante, HomeinCalpe, Interhome, Plusholidays and Restaurante Baydal, and Audrey's Restaurant, Beat Restaurant, Casa Cultura Jaume Pastor i Fluixà, Dive&Dive Diving Center, Les Basetes Nautical Club, Komfort have renewed it.

<What is SICTED?
SICTED, the Spanish Comprehensive Tourism Quality System for Destinations, is a destination improvement project promoted by the State Secretariat for Tourism with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces. Calp joined this program in December 2020, in its commitment to offering a competitive tourist destination.
To obtain this recognition, companies had to meet a series of requirements, including participating in training modules, individual and group technical assistance, improvement groups, and evaluations. However, according to the State Secretariat for Tourism, a modification to the methodology for granting these distinctions is planned for this year, and will be ready in June.
Tourism Planning Councilor Mireia Ripoll emphasized that "today we are celebrating the work you have done, the collective effort to make Calp bigger and more high-quality. We continue working together to ensure that SICTED continues to grow and that more and more companies join."
