Yesterday, the competition for the CV-202 Les Marines-Alacant road passenger transport service was announced. A service that will offer connection between some towns in the Marina Alta through different bus lines.
The project was announced in 2018 with a complete study of everything that would ultimately form the service. Said study shows that one of the main purposes is to provide various points in the province with connections to the Alicante-Elche airport, but also to the ADIF Alicante (AVE) station and the University of Alicante.
CV-202 itineraries
The service will have seven bus lines in total, with which a population of 740.000 inhabitants will be served among all the municipalities of Alicante that it will cover. The planned lines will be the following:
- Line 1 Benidorm - Airport
- Line 2 Benidorm - Alicante
- Line 3 Benidorm - (University) - Alacant (via Vila Joiosa)
- Line 4 Calp - Altea - Alacant - Airport (via L'Alfàs del Pi)
- Line 5 Callosa d'En Sarrià - La Nucia - Alicante
- Line 6 Dénia - Alacant - Airport (by Pedreguer and Gata de Gorgos)
- Line 7 Xàbia - Alacant - Airport (via Teulada-Moraira and Benissa)
Stops of each line
Line 1
With an average length in one direction of 57,05 km, the route includes: Benidorm (Bus station) – CV 753 - AP 7 - A 70 - N 338 – Airport.
Line 2
This 45,9 km line will be direct and the route will be as follows: Benidorm (Bus Station) – CV 753 – AP 7 – A 70 – N 332 – Alacant (ADIF / Station).
Line 3
The average length of this route will be 54,7 km passing through the University during the academic period: Benidorm (Bus station) – N 332 – La Vila Joiosa – N 332 – A 70 – A 77a – Universitat d'Alacant – Alacant (ADIF / Station).
Without going through the UA, the length of the route will be 47,6 km with the following route: Benidorm (Bus Station) – N 332 – La Vila Joiosa – N 332 – El Campello – N 332 – Alacant (ADIF / Station).
Line 4
This line comprises a route of 80,6 km and the following route: Calp (Bus station) – N 332 – Altea – N 332 – CV 763 – L'Alfás del Pi – CV 763 - AP 7 - A 70 - N 332 – Alacant (ADIF / Station) - N 332 – N 338 – Airport.
Line 5
With an average length in one direction of 57,6 km, the route includes: Callosa d'En Sarriá - CV 715 - Polop - CV 715 - La Nucia – AP 7 – A 70 – N 332 - Alacant (ADIF/ Station).
Line 6
This line will depart from Dénia to the airport and will cover 110,8 km with the following itinerary: Dénia (Station) – N 332 – Pedreguer – N 332 - Gata de Gorgos – AP 7 – A 70 - N 332- Alacant (ADIF/ Station) – N 332 – N 338 - Airport.
Line 7
The average length per direction of this last line will be about 102,04 km and will include on the route: Xàbia (Bus Station) – N 332 – El Poble Nou de Benitatxell – N 332 - Teulada – N 332 – Benissa – AP 7 – A 70 - N 332- Alacant (ADIF/Station) – N 332 – N 338 - Airport.

So we know where the routes will start and finish but are there to be stops along the way, like a normal bus service, or is it straight from A to B?
Only line 2 is a direct one. All the others have stops. If a city is named, it means it has a stop. Only the name of the road,, like n332 means where the bus passes. For example line 4 starts in Calpe, stops in Altes, L'Alfaz del Pi, Alicante adif and Airport. Greetings.
