An influencer and ultra-endurance runner will cross the Marina Alta this weekend for childhood cancer

1.560 kilometers across 11 Spanish provinces running in a solidarity challenge in favor of childhood cancer. The Catalan ultra-endurance athlete and influencer Sergio Turull is immersed in this demanding challenge which they have dubbed "From Tarifa to Cap de Creus running." There are a total of 23 days of racing in which he will cross the Marina Alta during his journey through the Spanish Mediterranean.

"The garden of my hospi" is the project of the Juegaterapia Foundation, in the maternal and child hospital of Malaga, for which funds are raised. "The mission of the Foundation is to create recreational spaces so that the stay of children with cancer is as bearable, enjoyable and humane as possible," according to the description of the challenge. The athlete is expected to arrive in Calp today in what will be the end of stage 12, of the 23 that the challenge includes in total. To complete his time in the region, an intense Saturday awaits Turull, traveling from the town of Peñón to Gandia in the worst day of the heat wave to go through it.
