January 28 from 2023 - 08: 55

As a way to encourage life and development in towns at risk of depopulation of the Valencian Community, the Valencian Employment and Training Service (Labora) offers aid of 5.000 euros to those who venture to undertake an activity in a town with these characteristics. In addition, the offer is also valid for those entrepreneurs who start a work that contributes to the ecological or digital transition.

For its part, a measure is considered to contribute to the ecological transition when it is an activity that prevents, minimizes or corrects environmental damage caused by human action. Therefore, it includes initiatives from almost any economic sector, from transportation, recycling, reducing energy, water or material consumption such as paper, agriculture and livestock that are respectful of the environment or the production of local handicrafts. .

Requirements

People who wish to undertake an activity that meets any of these premises must be registered with Labora before the start of the activity, although not necessarily as unemployed. In addition, it is also required to have started the business activity as a self-employed person between January 1 and February 28, 2023.

In addition, in order to be eligible for the subsidy, a report on technical, economic and financial feasibility. To obtain this report, contact any of the local development agents (AEDL) of the municipality where the activity is to be carried out. In these cases, said report will be completely free of charge.

In those towns where there is no local development agent, you can resort to the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces. It may also be prepared by any of the entities included in the Map of Entities of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem of the Valencian Community.

Which are the municipalities of the Marina Alta to undertake these initiatives?

The Generalitat Valenciana has provided a list of locations in which to start these activities compensated by Labora. From the Marina Alta we find four municipalities:

  • Castell de Castells
  • The Vall d'Alcalà
  • The Vall d'Ebo
  • The Vall de Gallinera

The rest of the municipalities of the Region where you can undertake are provided in the aid resolution annex with the rest of the bases and requirements for it.

Submission of application

The application period begins on January 25 and will remain open until March 31, 2023. The application will preferably be submitted electronically at the headquarters of the Generalitat, through the procedure authorized for this purpose.
