A strategic project to transform AMDComVal

The new Board of Directors faces the 2024-2028 period with an ambitious strategic project that seeks to consolidate the association as a benchmark in the digital media sector. This plan is designed to respond to the current needs of members and anticipate future challenges, marking the beginning of a stage of growth, modernization and transparency.

One of the fundamental pillars of the project is technological modernisation. The new Board of Directors will prioritise the redesign of the AMDComVal website with the support of the Digital Kit, incorporating advanced functionalities that improve the user experience and reinforce the association's SEO positioning. New features will include an exclusive private area for members, with access to specialised resources, reports and management tools. In addition, a collaborative news bank will be launched, a platform intended to facilitate the exchange of content between associated media, optimising resources and encouraging cooperation.

Institutional strengthening is another key aspect of the project. The Board of Directors will organise rounds of contacts with political parties, public administrations and journalistic associations, consolidating AMDComVal as a key interlocutor in the media policies of the Valencian Community. These relations will not only serve to represent the interests of the sector, but also to establish strategic alliances and generate new opportunities for collaboration.

In the area of financial sustainability, the Board of Directors has set itself the goal of increasing the number of members, with the aim of exceeding 75 media outlets in the coming years. To this end, the benefits of belonging to AMDComVal will be highlighted, such as access to advertising campaigns, shared resources and specialized training. In addition, contracts with OJD will be renegotiated, adapting them to the specific needs of digital media, and a transparent system for the allocation of advertising campaigns will be implemented, guaranteeing equity and fostering trust among members.

The project also includes a firm commitment to equality. The Board of Directors will work to promote parity in the representative bodies and ensure that the association's policies reflect this value. Likewise, the creation of agreements with universities and job banks will be promoted, facilitating professional internships for students and young journalists, and strengthening collaboration between the academic field and the media sector.

The new Board of Directors will organise flagship events, such as an annual gala to award the best journalistic coverage and thematic conferences in the three provinces of the Valencian Community. These events will not only highlight the value of digital communication, but will also serve to foster cohesion between members and strengthen AMDComVal's presence in the media landscape.

Finally, a long-term strategic objective will be the transformation of AMDComVal into a business association, which will allow it to expand its representation and negotiation capacity, and position the association as an influential player at the regional and national level. This project will be complemented by the search for European subsidies for digitalisation and technological innovation.

This new Board of Directors maintains a line of growth and ambitious objectives that would not be possible without the solid work and dedication of the previous Board of Directors. Their work has allowed us to build the foundations on which new challenges and opportunities are now being raised, consolidating AMDComVal as a benchmark in the digital media sector and leaving a legacy of commitment, innovation and cohesion that inspires this new management team.
