Next Wednesday, July 13, the prima ballerina of the Cuban National Ballet, Sadaise Arencibia, will land in Pedreguer with the aim of sharing knowledge and experiences with future dancers from the Marina Alta. She will be welcomed by the Nanny Alves Escola de Dansa on the occasion of the inauguration of the Alicia Alonso Ballroom, in honor of the legendary Cuban and international dancer.

Arencibia is in the country after his role in the Escorial in Madrid. For this reason, it will receive the ballet students trained in Pedreguer and the region to give a Master class, in addition to participating in a conversation with them and their families.

On the other hand, the inauguration act of the Alicia Alonso room plaque will be attended by the mayor of Pedreguer, Sergi Ferrús, and the culture technician, Xavier Ortolá. A very special meeting that will be enlivened by a poetry recital by the pedregueras Paquibel Server and Salomé Buigues, by the pianist Pepa Álvarez, who will play the piano for four hands together with her student Àurea Gayà and local dancers Ariadna Llobel will perform, Àurea Gayà and Lily Derdelfind.

  • From 11:15 am to 12:45 pm session for intermediate/advanced level.
