Pedreguer celebrated the Nou d'Octubre with various events scheduled last Sunday. Thus, the day began with two parades, one with the Banda del Center Artístic Musical and the other with Els Traginers.
One of the most representative acts this day for Pedreguer was the delivery of the XXXI Vila de Pedreguer Premis d'Honor. The mayor of the municipality, Sergi Ferrús, read the act of delivery within the framework of the institutional act prepared. This act gave way to the concert by Ina Martí, who presented her recent work Ina sings Maria Ibars.
The prizes awarded in its 31st edition were:
- XXXI Premi d'Honor d'àmbit local to Clementina Comes and Josep Antoni Comes, "for their caring and altruistic spirit, for the legacy they have given and still contribute to Pedreguer throughout their lives".
- XXXI Premi d'Honor al mèrit urbanístic o arquitectónic to the CERCLE team, "for the extensive professional career in territorial planning, with social interventions and paying attention to the environment and sustainability".
- XXXI Premi d'Honor al mèrit cultural to the Platform for the language, "for the defense, promotion and normalization of Catalan as a tool for social cohesion".
- XXXI Honorary Award for the defense of freedoms and solidarity Condemned to the curb, "for the invaluable work in favor of the inclusion of people with functional diversity".
