What do you need to get the 250 euros per month from the Generalitat to pay your rent?

Although the call for the Bo Jove de Lloguer 2022 of the Generalitat Valenciana has not yet been published, it will see the light of day very soon. Therefore, if you are a person between 18 and 35 years old and live for rent or know someone in this situation, this information is of interest to you.

The most important thing to qualify for the bonus is to be pending the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana, since the concession will be made by order of electronic registration.

Amount of the young bonus

The maximum amount of the aid will be 250 euros per month for two years, without the sum of the aid received between cohabitants exceeding the total price of the rental or transfer that appears in the contract.

Requirements for beneficiaries

• Being of legal age and under 35 years of age (age included) at the time of requesting the aid.
• Possess Spanish nationality, that of one of the Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland. In the case of non-EU foreigners, they must be in a situation of regular stay or residence in Spain.
• Have a lease or transfer of use of the home or room, or be in a position to sign it. In this case, you will have to subscribe within a maximum period of 2 months from when the aid is granted.
• The rented house or room must constitute the habitual and permanent residence of the tenant or transferee, which must be proven by means of a certificate or registration form.
• The rented or transferred dwelling or room must constitute the habitual and permanent residence of the tenant or assignee requesting the aid, which must be accredited by means of a certificate or registration form.
• The rental or assignment of the dwelling must be equal to or less than 600 euros per month. In the case of renting or transferring a room, it must be equal to or less than 300 euros per month.
• That in no case and in no monthly payment, the sum of the aid received by the young people who live in the dwelling exceed the amount of the rental income or transfer price.

In addition, applicants must have a source of income equal to or less than 3 times the IPREM (Public Indicator of Income for Multiple Effects). In the case of two young cohabitants, the income must be equal to or less than 4 times the IPREM and, when there are 3 or more cohabitants, it will be equal to or less than 5 times the IPREM.

How to request it

First of all, it will be necessary to fill out a prior appointment form through the web page enabled. This will open at the time the bonus can be requested, not before. In addition, it is recommended to do it through the digital certificate or cl@ve.

Secondly, with the date and time of the appointment assigned, you will have to click on the link "Process with a certificate". From there you can fill out the application electronically and provide the necessary documentation.

Once the bases have been published, the application term will be from the day after the disclosure at 09:00 a.m. until October 31, 2022.

If you do not have a digital certificate, the interested person will have to electronically fill in the Bo Lloguer Jove application form "Process electronically" and print the supporting document.

Said proof will constitute the application form and must be submitted duly signed and with the required documentation in one of the registries contemplated in Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations and, preferably, in the of the headquarters of the territorial services of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture located in Alicante (Avda. D'Aguilera, 1) Castelló (Avda. del Mar, 16) and Valencia (Gregorio Gea, 27).
