Gata de Gorgos begins its patron saint festivities in honor of the Santíssim Crist del Calvari from July 27 to August 6. To do this, the 2023 Festival Commission has relied on the municipality's City Council to prepare a complete program of events with shows and varied activities to cover different tastes and audiences.

- 20: 00 hours: Novena to the Most Holy Christ of Calvary in the Hermitage.
Thursday, July 27 - Baixada Day
- 19: 30 hours: Concentration in the Calvari hermitage of quint@s of children of 2022, quint@s of 2021 and 2022 and the general population for the novena and mass. The insignia of the Most Holy Christ will be placed on the children's fifths, majors and party commission of 2023.
Next, the procession of the Descent of the Holy Christ of Calvary accompanied by the Colla de dolçainers i tabaleters EL MONTGÓ and the Banda Unió Musical de Gata. Next, in the same square as the church, the 21 salutes will be fired, which will remind us that the Holy Christ is already in the town. Friday July 28 - Festival Day
- 10: 30 hours: Concentration of carriages and horses in the old soccer field, with the participation of quint@s children and quint@s older and all the neighbors who want it.
- 11: 00 hours: Entrance of the murta, which will go through the different streets of the town, accompanied by the Colla de Dolçainers i Tabaleters El Montgó.
- 12: 00 hours: Performance by the dance group LA LLATA. There will be a distribution of ESTRELLA GALICIA beer for everyone, sponsored by PUB KIROS.
- 13: 00 hours: General ringing of bells that will remind us all that the Holy Christ is in the church and Gata is already at the festivities.
- 22: 00 hours: Concentration in the Plaça Nova of children's fifths and older fifths 2023 accompanied by the Banda Unió Musical de Gata Music Band and the Band of the CODA Musical Association, in the transfer fence to the school group, picking up the 2021 and 2022 representatives at the Town Hall, festive visitors and local and neighboring authorities.
- 23: 00 hours: Presentation and election of the representatives of the Quinta infantil 2023 and the Quinta mayor 2023. Next, we will enjoy the TALENT SHOW. At the end of the festival, a disco party with a surprise DJ will take place on the old football field, until you drop!
Saturday July 29 - Opening Day
- 07: 00 hours: Home despertà of parties in charge of the villas 2023 LA MUNTONÀ.
- 08: 00 hours: Home enters of bulls from the Els Coves ranch sponsored by ASEVI.
- 08: 30 hours: Release of cows and a bull from the els COVES Ganadería. Next, there will be a popular breakfast in the bullring with a distribution of COQUES for everyone.
- 13: 00 hours: Bous a band LOS RUMBAOS at the commission bar. Sponsored by MECÀNICA ARABÍ.
- 18: 00 hours: Concentration in La Pau street of the children's fifth and elderly fifth and the people in general, to participate in the inauguration of the Corro.
- 18: 30 hours: Official inauguration of the bullfight, with the participation of the quint@s infantiles, quint@s eldest and the 2023 Festival Committee accompanied by the Batukada and Xaranga.
- 19: 00 hours: Second entry of FDO bulls. MACHANCOSES, sponsored by MATTIES BAGS. Next, a GREAT MASCLETÀ will be fired by the VALENCIAN fireworks, in the vicinity of the bullring.
- 19: 30 hours: Release of cows and bull from the Els Coves ranch.
- 22: 00 hours: Official opening of the barracks. The 2023 Party Commission will offer a snack to all attendees.
- 23: 00 hours: La Mito Orchestra. Throughout the dance, the prizes for the best decorated barracks will be announced. Then there will be a DJ at the Commission bar.
Sunday July 30 - Day of the floats
- 08: 00 hours: despertà in charge of the quint@s 2023 LA MUNTONÀ.
- 13: 00 hours: Bous a band with the group LA MOXA in the bullfighting bar, sponsored by SEGURS ESPASA.
- 19: 00 hours: Concentration of floats and groups on foot in the esplanade of the School Group.
- 19: 30 hours: Parade of floats enlivened by the BATUKADA, XARANGUES, the group of Dolçainers and Tabaleters EL MONTGÓ and Banda Unió Musical de Gata.
- 22: 00 hours: Dinner in the barracks.
- 23: 00 hours: Dance enlivened by the WALÈCTRIC orchestra, in Plaza Nova.
- 01: 30 hours: Release of cows and bull from the Benavent ranch.
Monday July 31 - Paella Night
- 08: 00 hours: despertà in charge of the quint@s 2023 LA MUNTONÀ.
- 18: 00 hours: Ball game for boys and girls in the Trinquet “Xiquet de Gata”.
- 19: 00 hours: 3rd Entry of bulls from the BENAVENT ranch, Sponsored by Paco Tello, Dani Salvà and Jose Luis Monfort.
At the end of the entrance, ice creams will be distributed to all the boys and girls, sponsored by PALACIO gelats. - 19: 30 hours: Release of cows and bull from the MINGUEZ ranch.
- 19: 30 hours: Non-alcoholic cocktail workshop for all young people who want to participate, in the entrance area to the Sports Center. Sponsor: Department of Youth of the City of Gata.
- 22: 00 hours: Paella night on the esplanade of the Grup Escolar, enlivened by the SPECTACULAR MONACO PARTY orchestra. With many surprises. The 2023 party commission will distribute tables and chairs to all those registered.
Tuesday, August 1 - Children's Day
- 08: 00 hours: despertà in charge of the quint@s 2023 LA MUNTONÀ.
- 10: 00 hours: Concentration of the children's quint@s 2023 "Més festa que res" and "Farem festa els Gaters" in Plaza Nova to start the children's awakening (remember that you must bring all kinds of utensils to make noise).
- 11: 00 hours: Water park on Avenida Alicante, with different inflatables, foam party during the park and guaranteed fun for boys and girls, by ESPECTACLES L'AFICIÓ. You must bring a float for the giant slide.
- 13: 00 hours: Bous a band with the group OPEN 24 HOURS, in the commission bar.
- 14: 00 hours: Lunch at the Social Center for the children's quintadas of 2023 "Més festa que res" and "Farem festa els Gaters".
- 16: 30 hours: Next great performance of the Great Wizard in the Social Center.
- 18: 00 hours: Entry of carretons and cart release, for the smallest bullfighters in the house. We are waiting for you all with many surprises.

Thursday, August 3 - Correfoc Day
- 08: 00 hours: despertà In charge of the quint@s older 2023 “LA MUNTONÀ”.
- 12: 00 hours: Bous a band with the MICHELUTTI group in the bar of the Commission.
- 18: 00 hours: I Tomacà-Gata Party in Benissa Street (Les Sorts). Age to participate from 16 years. You must wear diving glasses and a lot of desire to have fun.
- 19: 00 hours: 5th Entry of bulls from the MA MINGUEZ ranch.
- 19: 30 hours: Release of cows and bull from the MACHANCOSES ranch.
- 22: 00 hours: Dinners in the barracks. The party committee will distribute a snack for all attendees.
- 23: 00 hours: Great night enlivened by the Xaranga Toca't un ou. Sponsored by GORRAS PAULA and INMOBILIARIA JUAN RAMON.
- 23: 30 hours: correfocchildren in the Plaza de Sant Antoni, for boys and girls from 8 to 16 years old who have the CRE card, with appropriate clothing for the occasion.
- 01: 00 hours: correfoc by COET i CORDA from Pedreguer accompanied by the BATUKADA from Gata. The correfoc will begin in Carrer Paet and end with a tremendous finale in Paseo de Alicante. At the end, the release of cows and a bull from the LA PALOMA ranch.
Friday August 4 - Day of the bull

- 12: 00 hours: Release of cows from the MA MÍNGUEZ ranch.
- 18: 00 hours: Entrance of inflatable bulls.
- 18: 00 hours: FINAL of the TRUC championship, in the old soccer field.
- 18:30 p.m.: Wagon release for the little ones.
- 19: 00 hours: 6th entry of bulls from the BENAVENT ranch. Sponsored by TRANS. GUILLERMO REDUAN and OBRES IDA.
- 19: 30 hours: Release of cows and a bull from the LA PALOMA ranch.
- 22: 00 hours: Dinner in the barracks.
- 23: 30 hours: Great night enlivened by the group LOS INHUMANOS in Plaza Nova. Next, the best entry of bulls from the LA PALOMA Ganadería and the release of cows from the MACHANCOSES Ganadería.
Saturday August 5 - Day of the Elderly and the Offering
- 08: 00 hours: despertà in charge of the quint@s 2023 LA MUNTONÀ.
- 12: 00 hours: Mass in thanksgiving for the elders of our town.
- 13: 00 hours: Giant omelette and beerto go go for all attendees SPONSORED by CHORRO MARÍ SL of Xàbia, and we will have “bous a banda” in Plaza Nova with a performance by TREMP.
- 13: 30 hours: The Commission will offer a Wine of honor for the elders of the town in the Social Center. There will be dancing so that our elders can enjoy a good time in their day with the performance of VALENTINO FRANK.
- 18: 00 hours: Great game of professional raspall pilot between the blue and red teams with TONET IV and SALELLES II, in the Trinquet “Xiquet de Gata”. Organized by: Gata Ball Club. Sponsored by the City of Gata.
- 19: 30 hours: Concentration in the Plaça Nova of children's fifths and older fifths of 2023, clubs, associations and the general public to participate in the Floral Offering to the Holy Christ of Calvary, accompanied by the Colla de Dolçainers i Tabaleters EL MONTGÓ.
- 23: 00 hours: Revetla concert. The Banda Unió Musical de Gata will once again offer us a spectacular concert in the Plaza de la Iglesia, accompanied by representatives of the 2023 fifths, authorities, the 2023 Festival Commission and the general public. At the end, the CORDÀ will be fired on the old football field by the COET I CORDA Pyrotechnics. Only those who have the CRE card will have access to the venue.
- 02: 00 hours: We will have a DJ on Paseo de Alicante.
Sunday August 6 - Santíssim Crist del Calvari Day
- 08: 00 hours: despertà in charge of the Festival Commission 2023.
- 10: 00 hours: Parade of the Unión Musical de Gata Band through different streets of the town.
- 11: 00 hours: Parade of the Unión Musical de Gata Band, to collect the representatives of the children's Quint@s and the older Quint@s.
- 12: 00 hours: Mass in honor of the Most Holy Christ of Calvary with the participation of the Cor Grup Serrillàs de Gata. At the end of the mass, a great aerial bombardment will be fired by the VALENCIAN fireworks. Immediately afterwards, Wine of Honor in the Social Center, where the prizes of the floats, streets, truc, night march...
- 19: 30 hours: Mass followed by a solemn procession to accompany the Holy Christ from the church to the Calvario hermitage accompanied by the El Montgó Dolçainers and Tabaleters Group, the Coda Musical Association and the Unió Musical de Gata Band. At the end, a spectacular fireworks castle will be shot by the VALENCIAN pyrotechnics, ending the Gata festivities.
