The Moors and Christians festival in Moraira is a tradition that the town carries out annually. This 2023, Moraira celebrates its popular festival again From 2 to June 18 with an extensive program that invites both residents and visitors. This year the organizing captaincies are Filà Muladíes, from the Christian side, and Filà Almorach, from the Moorish side.
Friday June 2
- 19: 30 hours: Inauguration of the Andalusian Medieval Market.
Saturday 10 June
- 12: 00 hours: Concentration of Moors and Christians in the Urban Forest and preparation of the brotherhood meal. All enlivened by the Xaló Bataclán brass band.
- 21: 30 hours: Concentration of all the filaes in the Fortí and parade accompanied by the Colla El Falçó from Teulada and the Llebetjà from Benitachell.
- 22: 00 hours: Pennants Presentation Act on the esplanade of the Castle. Next, mobile disco with Sergio Pérez.
Dominican 11 June
- 18: 00 hours: International Festival.

- 20: 00 hours: Concert by the British Choir in the Moraira Parish.
Wednesday June 14
- 19: 30 hours: Party proclamation. by Silvia Tatnell. Next, there will be the awards ceremony of the XXII Drawing Contest, organized by the Central Board and in collaboration with the AMPA of CEIP Cap d'Or in Moraira and the AMPA of CEIP Sant Vicent Ferrer in Teulada. At the end of the act, CONCERT by the Colla el Falçó, Association of Dolçainers and Tabaleters of Teulada at c/ Doctor Calatayud.
Thursday June 15
- 21: 00 hours: BROTHERHOOD DINNER on c/Dénia, enlivened by Javi Mas.
Friday June 16
- 13: 00 hours: Concentration of the Christian Band in the Fortí and the Moorish Band in the pergola of the Paseo del Senillar and parade accompanied by brass bands.
- 14: 00 hours: Shot from an arquebus in the Esplanade of the Castle.
- 19: 15 hours: Offering of flowers in honor of the Holy Christ of Moraira in the Hermitage of the Castle. At the end of the act, interpretation of the march "Ofrena al Castell" composed by Rafa Soriano, dedicated to the Moraira Central Board of Moors and Christians and especially to its president, Carla Beltrán. This march will be performed by all the bands under the direction of Montserrat Tro Peris.
- 23: 00 hours: Moorish Conquest on La Ampolla Beach, followed by the Moorish Embassy and Moraira Castle Conquest. Next, night of captaincies.
Saturday 17 June
- 08: 00 hours: General awakening with harquebuses and brass band.
- 11: 00 hours: Concentration of all the filaes in the Fortí and parade with flags.
- 12: 00 hours: Mass in honor of the Holy Christ in the Moraira Parish and parade.
- 13: 00 hours: Shooting from an arquebus on the Esplanade of the Castle and an informal parade of filaes.
- 19: 30 hours: Parade of the Moorish and Christian sides to the beach.
- 20: 00 hours: Christian reconquest on the Ampolla beach. Assault on Moraira Castle by the Christian Band followed by the Christian Embassy and Reconquest of the Castle.
- 00: 00 hours: Popular retreat from the Fortí. Next Night of Kabyles with a performance by the AVALANXA orchestra on Avenida del Portet.
Dominican 18 June
- 08: 00 hours: General awakening with harquebuses.
- 12: 00 hours: Concentration of the Moorish Band in the Fortí and Cristiano Band in the Paseo del Senillar pergola and parade accompanied by brass bands.
- 12: 30 hours: Shot from an arquebus in the Esplanade of the Castle.
- 19: 00 hours: Entrance of Music Bands from the Castle to the Fortí.
- 20: 00 hours: Grand Gala Parade of the Moors and Christians.
