Pego begins the month of December with a new edition of the 'Nit en Blanc', the prelude to the Christmas festivities, a day that will take place on December 2 and that is designed to encourage purchases in establishments in the municipality, and in in which the Pego City Council and the municipality's Merchants Association collaborate jointly. The peak of the day will be in the afternoon, but programming will begin in the morning.

From 9 o'clock you can visit the Casa de Cultura to see the spectacular, and already traditional, 'Christmas Table for six diners' made by the establishments of the Merchants Association and valued at around 600 euros. A table that does not lack detail to celebrate a Christmas dinner and that will be raffled in its entirety (on December 22) among the neighbors who participate in the raffle organized by the merchants. "This year this table will be located on the ground floor of the House of Culture from December 2", reports the mayor of Commerce and Economic Promotion Creama, Ricardo Sendra.

"The raffle tickets can be purchased, from today, in establishments that are part of the association and will cost 2 euros per ticket," explains Sendra.

The shops have returned to overturn, one more year, in this pre-Christmas campaign. A total of 18 establishments are taking part in the window decoration contest, "a jury will go through all the establishments to reward the most Christmassy ones", points out the person in charge of Commerce. Commerce is combined this day with culture. To liven up the day, there will be live music at the Casa de Cultura. In the same building it will be possible to visit the exhibition 'The universe of flavor', organized by the Carmencita Chair of Gastronomic Flavor Studies of the University of Alicante. And an exhibition by the artist and CEAM professor, Tere Ferrando, will be inaugurated at the Museu d'Art on Calle Hospital.
