Last Thursday Unió Gremial and the Pedreguer City Council signed a collaboration agreement, through which the City Council will put bonds into circulation to encourage consumption by local businesses in the municipality. These Alicante Provincial Council consumer vouchers will be articulated by means of wallet cards and guarantee that anyone over 18 years of age and registered in Pedreguer can access them, by means of online or telephone reservations. Once the appointment has been made, interested persons may go to pick up the card at the places where the vouchers are delivered.
First thing in the morning, the signing of the agreement took place at the Pedreguer City Council. The agreement has been carried out in the premises of the consistory, by Sergi Ferrús Peris, mayor of the municipality, and Juan Motilla, president of the Unió Gremial. In addition, Noèlia Miralles Gilabert, Councilor for Commerce of Pedreguer, Rosa Júlia Fornés Alberola, Local Development Agent of CREAMA-Pedreguer, and Vanessa Cárdenas, vice-president of Unió Gremial, attended the event. The contribution of the Diputación de Alicante for bonds to trade will be 58.803 euros.
These campaigns to promote local business consumption are being carried out thanks to the joint work of the municipalities and the Alicante Provincial Council, together with the technical support of the Unió Gremial.
