The village of Pedreguer will host, from January 23 to 30, the different activities of the project's awareness campaign A Fund of values, which is carried out by the Fons Valencià per la Solidaritat and co-financed by the Ministry of Participation, Transparency, Cooperation and Democratic Quality of the Generalitat Valenciana. The main objective of this is to strengthen the solidarity Valencian municipalism. In addition to awareness raising activities, A Fund of values It has training, communication and research actions, with which it wants to make visible and bring closer the task of the solidarity municipal entity, also in the context of the organization's 30th birthday.
This awareness campaign, in short, aims to make visible that the Fons Valencià per la Solidaritat is much more than an economic fund, showing that it is also the sum of values and wills managed to promote that each of the contributions made by the local partner entities have a global benefit, with their own initiatives carried out wherever they are necessary.
As for the specific awareness-raising activities that will be carried out in Pedreguer, these are concentrated in a traveling exhibition, a rhapsody workshop, a southern cooking workshop and a storyteller.
Un Fons de valores program
Exhibition The values of the funds is the central axis of the awareness campaign where, in an attractive and participative way, "they want to influence the general public in the values of international decentralized municipal cooperation exercised from the towns of the Valencian Country, showing themselves in streets and public spaces of the municipality of the Marina Alta from January 23 to 30 ».
With the rhapsody workshop, scheduled at 18:30 p.m. on January 25 at the Casa de la Cultura, it is intended that the adolescent and youthful public contrast their concerns with those of the youth of the southern countries through sung poetry, rap or folk.
On the other hand, the southern cooking workshop is intended for the adult public and will take place at 18:30 p.m. on January 26 at the Casa de la Cultura itself. The purpose of this workshop is to promote the principle of solidarity through the preparation of traditional dishes from the countries where the Fons develops international cooperation projects.
Finally, on January 27, at 18:00 p.m., also at the Casa de la Cultura, the storyteller will take place The Castanyolets, intended for the family audience, with which the importance of collaboration and joint work based on respect for diversity and mutual recognition is to be conveyed.
The Pedreguer solidarity councilor and member of the Fons Executive Board, Ferran Lloret Morell, values the potential of the project's awareness campaign A Fund of values as "a large-scale tool to bring the work of the entity closer to the population of the vila from a pedagogical, experiential and playful perspective". In addition, he has stressed the importance of raising awareness among citizens in accordance with the values of solidarity and cooperation, principles that underpin the raison d'être of Fons.
