Last Saturday, June 29, the Ocell Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Ondara City Council, organized the traditional summer dinner at the Prado. This year, the event brought together popular music lovers, who enjoyed a Tres Fan Ball concert, the main attraction of the night.
Starting at 22:30 p.m., the venue vibrated with the music of this group, delighting followers of Valencian folk and, especially, the popular dances that are part of the group's repertoire. Three Fan Ball, old and beloved acquaintances of the Ondara public since the first editions of the Festacarrer, have visited the municipality on numerous occasions, always receiving great support and resonance.
Formed as a group in 1993, Tres Fan Ball has more than thirty years of experience and musical and cultural activism. They have visited numerous towns in the Valencian Country, as well as other regions of Spain and Europe. Their repertoire, based on four recordings, includes couple dances such as polka, waltz, pasodoble, jota, Scottish, mazurka and fox, as well as traditional Mediterranean and European collective dances. Despite their varied repertoire, their main work in the field of Valencian folk is to make the public dance while instructing them in the techniques of the various forms of popular dance.
