This morning, the proposal promoted by the Department of Economic Promotion of the Ondara City Council, headed by Raquel Mengual, was presented at Ondara Town Hall: 'Ondara se destapa'. This is the second edition this year of the Tapas Route (which was launched in May and June), and which will be carried out again at local establishments.
On this occasion, 'Ondara se destapa' will be offered every Friday in the months of October and November, from this Friday, October 19 to Friday, November 29, 2024.
The Mayor of Ondara, José Ramiro, and the Councillor for Economic Promotion, Raquel Mengual, have encouraged citizens to participate in 'Ondara se destapa', which will be "a good showcase for tasting local produce, and a good way to get to know the gastronomy of Ondara."
16 participating venues
A total of 16 bars and restaurants in Ondara will be taking part in this tasty culinary proposal: Bar Friends, Café Sendra, Bar-Rte Rincón de Ondara, Bar Gavilà, Cafetería Centro Social, Restaurando Deseo, Restobar La Mona, Bar-Rte ExisZe, Bar Prado, Kiko's Bar, Bergante, Bar el Bosque, Allí Bajo Bar, Hotel Ramios, Bar Cafetería Karma, and Bar La Dinaora. According to Raquel Mengual, for this second edition of the tapas route this year, Fridays have been chosen as the day to offer them.
The methodology will be free tapas. Each establishment will have complete freedom in the preparation of the tapa, which may be the same or vary each week, as decided by each participating bar.
Each establishment will be free to set the time at which the tapa will be served. The price will be tapa plus drink, beer, vermouth or wine, for 3,5 euros.
All customers who complete the Tapas Route in the 16 participating establishments will be entered into a draw for 2 dinners for 2 people. For this reason, a Tapas Route passport has been created, which they can stamp in each establishment they visit and consume the tapa.
The passport will be deposited in l'Espai Català and, once the route is over, a draw will be held among all the completed passports.
