Within the agreement signed this year 2024 between the Ondara City Council and the Valencian Pilota Federation, Ondara will be the venue for the JECV Largas Autonomous Final, which, organized by the Valencian Pilota Federation, will be held on Sant Benet and Libertad de streets. Ondara this Saturday, June 22, throughout the entire day, in the youngest, junior, infant, cadet and youth categories, as announced by the Mayor of Ondara, José Ramiro, and the Sports Councilor of Ondara, Lluís Fornés.
The Municipal Pilota School of Ondara, coached by Juanma Garrido and Raül Blasco, will be one of the schools that will compete in the JECV regional long finals with a total of five teams, having achieved, by winning the semifinals, the pass to the final for gold in the youngest, juvenile, infant and youth categories, and for 3rd place in juvenile.
A total of 10 games will be played within the JECV Long Regional Final; Firstly, the final for the 3rd regional place in each category, and then, the final for the regional gold. The games will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sant Benet street for the juniors, and on Libertad street for the cadets. At 11:20 the fry will begin in Sant Benet and the juveniles in Libertad. In the afternoon, at 17:30 p.m. the children's category finals will begin in Sant Benet.
From the Ondara City Council, both José Ramiro and Lluís Fornés have shown great satisfaction in hosting this event to promote pilota and have reiterated Ondara's support for the native sport.
