Calp is preparing for the celebration of Oktoberfesters, the Beer Festival organized by the Festival Committee for 2025, which will begin this Friday in the tent of the Parc de la Creativitat. The event, which will run until October 8, will officially start on viernes 4 at 20:00 p.m. with the traditional tapping of the first barrel.
In addition to the wide variety of beers, German and Spanish food will be served at Oktoberfesters at affordable prices, and live music will be one of the main attractions of the event. That same night, the German music group Don Ewaldo & Magenta and DJs Raúl C. and Javi Más will perform.
Programming Saturday October 5 The event will include activities for all ages. From 11:00 a.m., the little ones will be able to enjoy children's inflatables, and a giant paella will be cooked. Between 13:30 and 14:30 p.m., the children's rock band Ramonets will liven up the day, followed by performances by Xaranga La Motora, Memphis and Don Ewaldo & Magenta. In the evening, La Gran Babylon and Xaranga Los Mataos will take to the stage.
El Sunday October 6The day will begin at 10:00 with a gathering of classic cars and motorcycles, followed by a popular lunch at 10:30. Throughout the day, the public will be able to enjoy performances by Don Ewaldo & Magenta, Los Astrolabios and DJ Jota & Friends.
Finally, the Tuesday October 8, the party will resume its activity at 20:00 p.m. with a performance by Don Ewaldo & Magenta. At 23:00 p.m., the Remember Party “El Templo de la Música” will take place with Paco García KKO and Xavi Plastik, thus closing this edition of the Oktoberfesters.
This event, organised by the pre-festeros with the aim of raising funds for the 2025 patron saint festivities, revives a beer tradition that has been present in the town for more than 30 years. "With the Oktoberfesters we kick off the most festive month in the town and at the same time it allows the festival-goers to raise money for the next festivities," he said. Ana Sala, Mayor of Calp.
