New government anti-crisis measures: what they are and how long they will last

28 December 2022 - 08: 50

The Government presented yesterday, after the last Council of Ministers of the year, the new package of response measures to the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine. The first batches of aid began last March and, from next January 31, some measures are renewed and others conclude.

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, assured in the traditional balance of the year that this aid has been designed to "protect the social majority of the country." For this reason, 10.000 million euros have been earmarked for this new package, which, added to the previous ones, makes a total of 45.000 million euros.

Giving gifts is one thing, but with a stable economy gifts are not necessary, but it is much more difficult. Spain is in the EU, so they may not have a choice and have to follow orders.

Correction: It is not "the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine" but "the crisis caused by our reactions to the war in Ukraine."

Everything the government announces is simply to win votes. And most of it is so difficult to obtain, I mean the "paguitas", that only 1% of those who request it get it. And I say this from experience in my family, specifically with the gift of €400 for young people who turned 18 in 2022... If someone continues to believe in all this aid, it's up to him. I certainly don't. Let's see that you vote, think about it.

Crisis? what crisis? As long as there are so many people who can afford so much travel, AIRBNB, dinners, drunkenness and stamping the car on a straight line, where is the crisis?
