The expansion works on the CV-743 highway, which connects Teulada with Moraira, will resume next Tuesday, May 6th, after a break for the Easter holidays. This restart coincides with the completion of one of the subphases of Phase 1 of the project.
As reported by the Municipality of Teulada, from that date onwards, traffic closures will be introduced again in the downstream direction, while the alternative detours that were already in operation will remain in place.
For heavy traffic, the detour via the Teulada-Benimarco highway (CV-741) will remain in effect. This temporary route begins at the roundabout that connects to the highway and continues to the junction with the CV-745, where a left turn must be made towards Moraira.
For light traffic, the detour along Camí de Sant Miquel, which runs along Carretera del Pas, will continue, with a subsequent detour to Camí Les Rotgetes, and an exit at the boating area. The City Council reminds everyone that this route includes narrow sections, so its use is recommended exclusively for passenger vehicles.
Upstream traffic will remain open, although alternate crossings may be opened in both directions depending on the progress of the construction. This measure aims to "speed up traffic as much as possible and minimize disruption," municipal sources stated.
Given that this is one of the municipality's main thoroughfares and the project is extensive, road signs and detours may be modified in the coming weeks. For this reason, the City Council recommends "staying informed through official channels" for any updates.
