Benissa has taken stock of the work carried out by the Local Police of the municipality during the summer season. More than 500 complaints have been filed in the municipality, among which 368 stand out for traffic violations, 156 for bottles, illegal dumping or noise nuisance and 38 for failing to comply with COVID measures.
During the summer, the team headed by the Inspector-Chief of the Local Police, Pedro Cobos, has maintained double patrols to guarantee the security standards to which the consistory had committed itself. In addition, this summer there were already 10 more police officers on the staff who joined less than a year ago.
According to the SysPol management system, the Benissa Local Police have carried out a total of 2.603 interventions, of which 750 correspond to the field of citizen security, 720 to administrative police actions, 654 are related to road safety and 479 correspond to the area of internal management.
