The Socialists urge all parties to position themselves on the reversal of the Dénia Health Department

February 23 from 2023 - 10: 35

The regional day held by the socialists last Saturday in Gata de Gorgos served to reaffirm their support for the reversal of the Department of Health of Dénia. An issue that they believe is essential to make clear in the face of the next elections so that all voters know their intention. But not only that of the socialists, but they ask for the same clarity from the rest of the political parties that will appear in the elections in each town of the Marina Alta.

José Ramiro, Regional Secretary General of the PSPV-PSOE: «It is important that the residents of the region know if all the political parties will guarantee the reversion in 2024, a will that has been constantly manifested from the region, or if there are parties that would throw back the reversion if they entered to govern in the Generalitat Valenciana. Given that there are parties that use euphemisms, such as carrying out an audit to see what is the best management of regional health, we hear that they do not want to revert it to direct management.

From the PSPV-PSOE they assure that the political forces of the botanic, with Ximo Puig at the head, are the only ones that will guarantee this reversal by 2024. From the Department of Universal Sanitation and Health, last Tuesday, January 31, they expressed their will not to extend the concession contract of the Dénia health department, which ends on January 31, 2024.

In this communication, made to the concessionaire company Marina Salut SA, the reversion regulations to be met during the last year of the contract were delivered to achieve a transition from private management to direct management as "orderly, planned and calm" as announced by the Minister of Health, Miguel Mínguez. The Socialists consider it important "that if there are parties that do not guarantee the reversal or audits are invented to not carry it out, that they say so before the elections and that they portray themselves in writing."

For this reason, they ask that all the parliamentary groups of the Corts Valencianes state in writing their commitment, before May 1, 2023, to maintain the reversion regulations already communicated by the Ministry to the Marina Salut company and that the department of health of Dénia is of direct management to February of 2024.

The Socialists also show their concern that the concessionaire decreases the sanitary service in a year with a view to leaving the department. For this reason, they also demand that the Ministry be on top of compliance with the reversion regulations communicated to the concessionaire, in addition to asking Marina Salut to comply with them in order to have the best transition at the end of their contract.

From the party it is intended to present a motion in the next municipal plenary sessions of the different localities to give support to the reversal. An excerpt from the motion is attached below:

As is foreseen, in May 2023, there will be regional elections that will provide a new government to the Generalitat Valenciana, which will have to direct the termination of the contract, or on the contrary, it may decide to paralyze the reversal and execute the extension of 5 more years of private management in the Marina Alta, a possibility that exists contractually.

Given the concern of the citizens of the Marina Alta that was caused by the uncertainty generated by the elections and that was caused by the non-finalization of the contract to change the government, they consider that it is important to know before the elections the will to recover from the direct management for a Guarantee veritably universal, public and free health, managed with criteria of honesty, fairness, efficiency and professionalism.

Wow man, a good time green sleeves
What a nerve PSOE, now they ask that all the parties sign in writing,,, and you, when did you sign in writing?
Two legislatures, and the train from the coast to Gandia-Valencia? And the reversal of the La Marina hospital?
Will you, Chulvi, get your company to SIGN in writing? Will you protest a little, a little??

Personally, it makes no difference to me who manages this center, as long as it does not affect the results that matter to us to the health of the patient. Everything else is pure politics that is governed by the particular interests of some and others.

Another issue is the dependence we have on a town like Jávea with about 30.000 resident inhabitants plus visitors and tourists with a floating population of 40.000.- historically subordinated to Denia. We can no longer compare ourselves with Teulada, where they have had the ability to facilitate the installation of a hospital for a very important health company and that is so needed in Jávea, but of course in Jávea we are satisfied with the Bous al carrer and the party.
Less raising your fist and more working than that's what they pay you for.

They can't get to work, because they don't know how.
The PARTY is something that they know how to do very well, continuous drunkenness to be able to act inept without being very noticeable.
The Hospital thing has been a typical move of politics and cronies. In a short time I hope that a Prosecutor, without political inclinations, will take the bull by the horns and dedicate himself to investigating all these bargains, the bargains of municipal caciques, a municipality where they screw up with their projects, squander money and do not ensure a promising future , quite the opposite.

The Denia Hospital thing smells like shit, it looks like shit and I imagine that in the end it will be known that it is shit.

  3. I xelo says:

We want the Denia hospital to stop being in private hands.
    Health is not a business...

  4. We'll see, yeah... says:

In a few years, not many, all of these things will be investigated, and more than one person in that photo will lose their smile.

Let them continue doing their thing, and then we'll laugh.

Time after time, that everything comes and the police are not stupid….

  5. Luis says:

When were and are the commissions received for allowing and promoting the sale of the Denia Public Hospital to a private company paid?
