In addition to these novelties, several places in the region renewed their Repsol Sun (or Suns) in 2022. There were 11 in total. Quique Dacosta Restaurant
Quique Dacosta is the gastronomic face of the Marina Alta at a national and even international level. Its restaurant represents a place of pilgrimage for the most discerning palates when visiting Dénia.

BonAmb Restaurant
In 2011, the BonAmb restaurant, installed in Xàbia, was born with the purpose of inviting its guests to enjoy a gastronomic offer surrounded by a good atmosphere. Casa Pepa

Peix i Brases
One of the establishments that gave the most talk in Dénia , since, in addition to having the presumable two Soles, at the end of 2021 the Peix i Brases achieved its first Michelin Star.

The Baret Miquel
One of the best known restaurants by the residents of Dénia, by the veteran chef Miquel Ruiz. It is difficult to find a list or guide that includes the best Dianense restaurants and that this establishment in the heart of the city does not appear.

The Repsol Guide offers a second list of recommendations that, despite not obtaining any Sol, achieve a special and outstanding mention for the prestigious culinary entity. In the Marina Alta, these are the 12 restaurants that appear:
ABISS GastroBar
Again in Calp, the Abiss restaurant is located on the promenade of the Arenal-bol beach. It is identified by its two spaces, one more classic and the other with a casual air, the Gastrobar, where you can enjoy a dinner or tapas meal.
Federico House
The Casa Federico restaurant is one of the most emblematic restaurants in Dénia. Open since 1980, its rice dishes and fresh seafood define it as a must in the Repsol Guide.
Chola Gastro
The concept that advances strongly in Xàbia is fusion cuisine at Chola Gastro. It proposes from the Peruvian cebiche to the mochis Japanese or Mexican tacos. It is located in the heart of the municipality, near the town hall and the parish of San Bartolomé.

defined itself as 'cuina deniera', El Faralló has its recommended position in the Guide with a seafood culinary commitment and with its main protagonist, the Dénia red prawn. He hides on Fénix street, in front of Les Rotes beach.
