The fourth edition of Impulsa Cultura of the Salom Sabar Foundation already has its chosen cultural projects. After a selection process in which 37 initiatives had participated, only five of them will receive the support for artistic and cultural activity in the Marina Alta granted by the foundation.
"Dolores Sendra In Memoriam"
First there is the production of the recital for voice and piano “Dolores Sendra In Memoriam”, a tribute concert that rescues the work of the Pegolina composer Dolores Sendra, still today in a handwritten version, and makes visible her contribution to the compositional world of the Valencian XNUMXth century.
Both musicological research and performance will run by the soprano Teresa Albero accompanied by the Dianense pianist Francisco Cholbi.
«Addicts. Drugs, vices and other games that kill»
The new show of the company Ineffable Producciones addicts Drugs, vices and other games that kill It will once again have the support of the Salom Sabar Foundation. After the success of his previous job Sexualize you which has been represented in most of the Institutes and cultural centers of the region, the company now focuses on drug use and gambling, two increasingly frequent problems among young people and adolescents.
Marinae Ensemble
The Salom Sabar Foundation has also wanted to support the recent launch of the chamber orchestra Marinae Ensemble. This, made up of young student musicians or recent graduates from professional music conservatories in the Marina Alta, was born with the aim of promoting chamber music among young people and spreading it throughout society.
Their next concerts are scheduled for April 2022 in the Auditorium of the Social Center of Dénia and in the Parish of Santa Catalina and San Agustín de Valencia.
"Sowing in the desert"
The fourth of the projects selected in this new edition of Impulsa Cultura is the creation of the album "Sembrando en el desert" by the musician Óscar Jareño in collaboration with national and international artists of traditional music and urban music. At the same time, the project is linked to the Marina Alta Microforests Network for the reconversion of small degraded lands into native Mediterranean forests.
Travel Cinema of the Ocejón in the Montgó
Finally, it will also receive the support of the Salom Sabar Foundation for its fourth edition in Jesús Pobre, the Contest of Travel Cinema of the Ocejón in the Montgó. This is an auteur film festival specializing in travel that seeks to encourage cultural activity and, specifically, auteur documentary cinema in small towns where this type of initiative rarely arrives. Its next edition will take place 11 of the 13 November 2022.
