The Ministry of Health has announced today that vaccination for people between 55 and 59 years will begin on May 17. For this population group, the regional government currently has reserved more than 100.000 doses of vaccines.
On the other hand, people between 70 and 74 years of age in the Valencian Community will have received at least one dose of the vaccine against COVID-19 next week.
In fact, the Ministry of Health is summoning all the people of this age group, so that next week the immunization process against the coronavirus of the age group of 70 to 74 years will have finished. Specifically, it will be the first dose for those who are being vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna, and the full immunization for those receiving the Janssen vaccine.
In this sense, people between the ages of 70 and 72 are being summoned in the large vaccination spaces and are receiving the appointment via SMS. Regarding the population comprised in the age group of 73 and 74 years, Health is administering the vaccine in health centers and they are being summoned by telephone.
