The award-winning Orba pelota player Sacha Kruithof announced last September 2023 that he was embarking on a new adventure, the recording of a television program in which he would be the protagonist. It was the documentary series Sacha to New York, produced by À Punt, and which after almost a year of work already has a premiere date on the Valencian network.
As announced by both the Orba athlete and television, next Thursday, July 4 at 22:45 p.m., the first episode of the series will be broadcast. The program will consist of four chapters in total in which the public will discover the adventure lived by the pelotari Kruithof during five weeks in the city that never sleeps.
The program promises to show Sacha training intensely and facing all types of opponents in preparation for his final challenge: facing the best pilot player in New York, Tywan Cook. The one from Orba will be accompanied by his mentor William Polanco, with whom he will visit neighborhoods and locations well known to lovers of the city, such as Brooklyn, the Bronx or Coney Island, where he will demonstrate that "he pilots it in a universal game."
