On December 19, the municipal radio station of Ondara premiered the dramatized story The queen of the snows, within the literary program From Segària to AlexandriaThis special featured the voices of actress Mónica Palacios and journalist and writer Jovi Lozano-Seser, host of the show. This is the first production of this radio format made by the station, coinciding with the Christmas holidays and the midway point of the first season of the program, which seeks to promote literature and reading. Since its premiere in October, the program has hosted prominent literary voices.
The proposal to perform this dramatized tale came from actress Mónica Palacios, a well-known artist in the Marina Alta region and manager of the company Les Rodamons. With more than two decades of experience, Palacios has dedicated herself to vindicating the figure of the storyteller as a scenic reference. For this occasion, she adapted the classic by the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, published in 1845.
Both Palacios and Lozano-Seser took on the challenge of interpreting the voices of the six characters that appear in the story, complemented by sound effects that set the mood for the different scenes of the story. According to Lozano-Seser, this initiative represented "a challenge, but also a Christmas gift for the audience of the municipal radio, taking into account that both adults and children are at home at this time of year."
Although the special premiered on December 19, it will be rebroadcast next Thursday, January 2 at 19:30 p.m. on channel 107.4.
