The Marina Alta Orchestra raises more than 2.500 euros in the Solidarity Concert for those affected by DANA

On December 1st, the Teatre-Auditori in Beniarbeig was the scene of a charity concert that will set an example of solidarity and commitment. Organised by the Orquesta de la Marina Alta (OMA) and directed by its principal conductor, Francesc Estevez, the event managed to raise more than 2.500 euros, which will be donated entirely to Cáritas Beniarbeig, which is responsible for delivering these funds to the families affected by the DANA that devastated Valencia last October.

The concert, which was supported by Beniarbeig Town Hall and the Dénia Foundation, offered a high-quality programme with the performance of Dvorak's Serenade op. 44 and Gounod's Petite Symphonie. The emotion and beauty of the music captivated the audience, who filled the hall and contributed generously to this charitable cause.

The conductor, Francesc Estevez, highlighted the extraordinary response of the audience and the enthusiasm of the musicians: “This concert has been an example of how music can unite us to help others. We are immensely grateful for the collaboration of everyone who has made it possible.”

This act of solidarity reinforces the commitment of the Orquesta de la Marina Alta to the community and demonstrates the power of music. The money raised is a direct support for those who need it most, providing hope and help in difficult times.
