From April 10 to May 15, El Poble Nou de Benitatxel hosts the XVI Series of Spring Concerts with numerous proposals ranging from festive music to percussion or chamber music. Headlining the bill is the Valencia Chamber Orchestra.
The Musical Spring 2022 will start on Sunday April 10 with a very homey and own performance: the concert of the Santa María Magdalena Music-Municipal Association, which traditionally fills the venue to the brim with residents of the municipality proud of their band. Be at 18:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
The big bet of this edition will come Sunday, April 24, at 18:00 p.m. in the Santa María Magdalena Church, by the Valencia Chamber Orchestra, who will perform Pergolesi's Sabat Mater and A. Scarlatti's Salve Regina.
The Valencia Chamber Orchestra stands out for the energy it offers in each and every one of its performances. Freshness, quality and musical excellence are some of its qualities. Since its foundation in 2011, the OCV has established itself as a stable formation that is committed to values, social commitment, young talent and the great experience of consolidated artists.
The cycle will follow the Sunday May 8 with the performance of the regional percussion group Conecta, which will offer its original Urbà'21 concert in the Plaza de la Iglesia at 18:00 p.m.. He May 15 the icing on the cake will be provided by the OMA – Marina Alta Orchestra in the church, at 19:00 p.m.
Most concerts are subsidized by the aid programs for Culture of the Diputación de Alicante, among them the line of subsidies Música als pobles. Admission to all concerts is totally free and free.
