The weekend strongly marked by rainfall, and an entry into autumn in style, has left striking data for the accumulation of rain throughout the Marina Alta. At the moment, the State Meteorological Agency maintains the alert at its lowest level throughout the county territory until 23:59 p.m.
The accumulated precipitation in 12 hours could reach 60 mm during today's day, Monday, September 26. Although it seems that the worst is over, during yesterday, the accumulation records in the north and the pre-coastal region were significant.
Pego stands out, at the Ambra weather station where in less than 24 hours 210 liters per m2 were recorded, according to MeteoPego. The highest record in the station's 20-year history.

Less significant has been the accumulation in Benissa, with 29,2 mm in the town hall area, or in Benitatxell, which has registered 21,9 mm. On the other hand, where this last rainy episode has had the least impact has been in Castell de Castells, where only 7,2 mm have been recorded.
