The Ministry of Health has released the latest coronavirus data by municipalities. In this update, the Marina Alta slightly increases the number of infected, 16 new cases compared to the five that were registered last Tuesday. In addition, a new death has been registered, already exceeding the figure of 200 (specifically 201 deaths since the pandemic began).
Xàbia, which had not registered new infections for two weeks, today added 8 new positives and its accumulated incidence skyrocketed from 18,11 per one hundred thousand inhabitants on Tuesday, to 36,2. Calp adds positives again, in this chaos 6 new infections and its accumulated incidence worsens to 57 per hundred thousand inhabitants. For its part, Dénia and Benissa have registered a new positive. The incidence in the capital of the region drops to 26,09, while in Benissa it is 18,17.
The Marina Alta has 9827 positive cases since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 40 are still active.
