A total of 74,4 million euros has been awarded by the Department of Education of the Generalitat Valenciana for the construction or improvement of 42 educational centers at the regional level in 18 different regions.
Of the investment, 15,1 million are allocated for 10 actions in educational centers in the regions of Alicante; 12,3 million euros, for 10 actions in educational centers in the regions of Castellón, and 47 million euros, for 17 new actions in the regions of Valencia.
With these 42 new delegations of the Edificant plan, Education has awarded 1.351,8 million euros for the improvement of educational infrastructures: 472,9 million, for the regions of Alicante; 216 million, for those of Castellón, and 662,9 million, for those of Valencia.
In this new allocation of economic funds, the last step is for each action to be approved in the municipal plenary sessions of each of the 34 applicant municipalities. In this way, the consistories will be able to initiate the processing of the works with the economic funds allocated by the Ministry.
15,1 million for Alicante
There will be 10 new construction, expansion or improvement actions in educational centers in 6 Alicante regions, which add up to a total investment of 15,1 million euros that reaches 8 municipalities.
El The most important investment increase is made in La Marina Alta, with 7,7 million euros in two new performances. On the one hand, almost 7,5 million euros are allocated to the construction of another plot of land in the section of the IES Enric Valor de Orba, which will make it possible to have a larger center that has FP studies. On the other hand, more than 256.000 euros were awarded to carry out improvement work at CEIP Carolina Sala de Pego.
In La Vega Baja, 3,2 million euros will be invested in the extension of the CEIP Virgen de Pilar de Los Montesinos.
2,2 million euros are allocated to El Comtat for two actions: the rehabilitation of the IES Pare Arques de Cocentaina and the improvement of its energy efficiency, works that have 1,5 million euros, and the comprehensive reform of the CRA classroom Mariola-Benicadell de Gaianes, in which 712.000 euros are invested.
In L'Alacantí, close to 1,1 million euros will be invested in expanding and improving CEIP L'Horta in San Vicente del Raspeig, where a new gym will be built and the center's electrical installation and heating system will be renovated.
In El Vinalopó Mitjà, the Peñas Blancas de Aspe nursery school will be renovated and accessibility will be improved with an investment of more than half a million euros.
Finally, El Baix Vinalopó has been awarded more than 332.000 euros for the removal of fiber cement from three schools in Elche: CEIP Alcudia, CEIP Cervantes and CEIP Sanchis Guarner.
