The latest Health update leaves 712 new positives in the Marina Alta. For the first time in 2022, infections drop below a thousand in an update.

By municipalities, Dénia has registered 143 cases, Xàbia 109, Calp 104, Teulada-Moraira 40, Benissa 80, Pego 60, Pedreguer 33, Ondara 39, Gata de Gorgos 25, El Verger 33, Benitatxell 2, Xaló 3, Els Poblets 2, Orba 24, Beniarbeig 2, Llíber 1, Parcent 1, La Vall de Laguar 2, Murla 1, La Vall de Gallinera 1, Castell de Castells 3, Sagra 1 and Tormos 1.

In addition, in this update a new death has been reported in Calp so the number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 238.
