The cold that has been with us for the last few weeks seems to have its days numbered. According to the weather forecast, next week we will say goodbye to the anticyclonic blockade regime and we will welcome a situation of westerly winds, which will mean a radical change in the weather.
This new situation is expected to cause temperatures to rise considerably, reaching full spring values. starting on sunday the maximums will gradually suffer an increase. Then the thermometer will reach a maximum of 20º in many municipalities of the region.
However, the feeling of more heat will be experienced from Wednesday. According to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency, both the inland towns and the northern half of the coast will exceed twenty degrees and the temperature could reach 25 °C.
In the coastal towns of the southern half of the region, such as Benissa, Teulada Moraira and Calp, the increase will not be so striking and they will continue to be around 20 and 22 °C maximum until next weekend.
