Due to its 'excellent quality', the Baladrar de Benissa cove has obtained for the first time the great recognition granted by the Blue Flag distinctive of the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC).

The Valencian Community revalidates its leadership and once again becomes the Spanish autonomous community with the most blue flags. The Valencian coast has 158 distinctions, 21.67% of the state total, which recognize the quality and services of 139 beaches (two more than last year) and 19 marinas (compared to 16 in 2021).

Alicante, the most awarded
