By 2023, the boys and girls of Ondara will once again be able to enjoy the traditional Three Kings Parade, which will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2023, organized by the Department of Festivals and Traditions of the Ondara City Council, directed by Miguel Gomis . The reception for the Three Wise Men on this occasion will once again take place under cover, inside the Prado.
The arrival in Ondara of the Cavalcade of Their Majesties Three Kings of the East will begin at 18:00 p.m. It will be at that moment when Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, mounted on a carriage and accompanied by their entourage, will tour the streets of Ondara, leaving from the Sanchis Guarner school.
The Ondara 2023 Parade will have a great musical and festive atmosphere. Among other animations, there will be Disney characters and other surprises. The Parade will include the participation, among others, of the Novatada and Pre-Quintada 2023, the Solitude Commission 2023, Festeros de Cristo 2023, the MD juniors of Ondara, the dance groups of the Ondara Rhythmic Gymnastics School, the Association of Carters and Horsemen of Ondara, and the Association of Amas, among other collaborations. Regarding the musical atmosphere of the Parade, it will be in charge of the Ondara Musical Union; of Ondara Gang of Dolçaines i Tabals; the brass band “El Viejo Montgó” and the percussion group Ondarattack.
Regarding the itinerary, the 2023 Parade will maintain the itinerary carried out since 2016 (the floats will go through the crossing of the old national). The departure will be at 18:XNUMX p.m. from CEIP Sanchis Guarner and the itinerary will run along Marina Alta Avenue, La Pau and Santo Doménech streets, until it reaches Plaza del País Valenciano and Doctor Fleming Avenue; from there, they will arrive at General Bosch and Prado, inside which the Portal de Belén will be mounted. Three Wise Men will adore the baby Jesus and, later, they will attend all the boys and girls of Ondara, take photos with them and collect their requests.
The Councilor for Festivals and Traditions, Miguel Gomis, has called for citizen participation in this act, wishing that children/stiffs and adults are participants in the event that has been prepared with great enthusiasm.
