May 18 from 2023 - 09: 06

The State Meteorological Agency has updated this morning the bulletin of warnings in force in the Valencian Community where it indicates that the Marina Alta area, the north coast of Alicante, is on yellow alert as of midnight today, from Thursday to Friday, and until 07:59 on Friday.

The forecast indicates that these two days will be marked by instability, with the risk of rain and storms. However, it will not be generalized rainfall, but could appear at any time and in different parts of the region.

When reviewing the prediction for the next few hours of the AEMET, it is verified that during the morning of today the first rains could arrive in points of the interior, such as Parcent, Murla, Castell de Castells, the Vall de Gallinera, the Vall de Laguar or Pego .

In coastal towns, such as Dénia, Xàbia, Teulada Moraira and Calp, the prediction indicates that the rain will adhere to the alert hours indicated for the next morning. Although, as indicated, precipitation can appear unexpectedly.

Regarding the maximum temperatures, the environment will be cool, staying between 20 °C and 22 °C in most municipalities. The minimum will oscillate between 11 and 14 degrees, while Castell de Castells could register temperatures below 10 ºC.
