The State Meteorological Agency has predicted a radical change in the weather for the next few days throughout the peninsula and the Balearic Islands. This announcement has led the agency to activate the yellow alert for precipitation accumulated in one hour (20 mm) and for storms on the north coast of Alicante.
The presence of several storms will cause a remarkably unstable atmosphere with rain and drop in temperatures included, after a few sunny and hot days at Easter. The situation could continue until Sunday, although the Marina Alta would be affected this Wednesday.
